I prefer the ninja turtles comic style of today. why? well because its gotten more complex. more villians, more new storys. more art styles, and different life styles, clean pop, or exta violent and bloody.
The first movie i ever saw at the theater was ninja turtle. I was blown away as a lil kid seeing it start up, how big it looked, how excited it got me, remembering when Ralph was peeking out the sewer line at the beggining. a great experiance. I want to be a director and so does my friend. If i get the chance, the first movie i wanna direct is a new ninja turtles movie, because of how it blew me away as a kid, thanks for the memories, and made me wanna direct movies. Ive been wanting to say that for so many years now!!! thanks for asking this great question.

Comical 90's version, though the animated series they have on today is pretty good also.

Better: TMNT of the 1980s--the original black and white comics.
