I h8 it. The closest thing I'll ever get to camping is a Best Western.

I am not really into it either too many bugs, and wild animals, and no indoor plumbing

Camping is the BEST! The worst week camping is still better than the best week at work. My friends and I go camping down the coast every summer. We go surfing, swimming, watch the dolphins, squirrels, and hawks, and lie around the beach all day soaking up sun! Then at night we cook steak kabobs, shrimp, marinated chicken, grilled corn and veggies over a big fire, play dominoes, poker, listen to music, laugh, joke, talk...and get plastered! It's the best week of the year!

Ha ha...Best Western is far from camping....I think it's fun, except when you have to use the bathroom...I always have to use this icky public restroom that's like a open room with showers and toliets next to each other, that's the worst part. But I love the fresh air and having no tv, just chillin' it's cool

OMG I LOVE to camp. I have been doing it since I was five years old.
when you are up on the mountian or surrounded my a lake, the quiet and the calm that it brings is so emmaculate.
everyone needs a quiet place like that, so you can regroup, release some tension and stress.
Oh! Now you got me thinking about it, and now I must plan a trip!!!!!

It was a great money saver when our kids were young. I must mention we did it in a pop-up camper ( no bugs. not on the ground, plugged into electricity, stayed in a camp site etc.) You would never get me to do it again. Been there, done that!

well it all depends on who you are with, when you are going, and where you are going. and if all three of those questions have good answers then go. if not maybe you should go camping the next time when all the right things are going to be involved!

3] NASTY BATHROOMS, IF THERE ARE ANY AT ALL
4] DIRT! EVERYTHING GETS COVERED IN IT!
5] NO SHOWERS, AND IF THERE ARE SHOWERS, YOU HAVE TO PAY TO USE THEM WHILE RISKING GETTING SOME NASTY DISEASE LOL
6] PACKING AND UNPACKING
7] CLEANING UP AFTER YOU'RE DONE, AND HOW NOTHING SEEMS TO FIT BACK WHERE IT BELONGS.
8] THE FOOD TAKES FOREVER TO MAKE
9] THE FOOD YOU MAKE IS ALWAYS GROSS
10] CAMPFIRES! OOOH GOD EWW
11] ITS ONE BIG EXCUSE FOR OUR PARENTS TO GET DRUNK IN THE WOODS.

13] HOT DURING THE DAY
14] AIR MATRESSES ALWAYS LOOOOSE AIR!
15] HAVING TO RE BLOW YOUR AIR MATRESS EVERYDAY!

17] SETTING UP YOUR TENT REALIZING YOU ARE ON A HILL, SO WHEN YOU GO TO SLEEP YOU SLIDE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE TENT.

21] NO ELECTICITY.

24] YOU ARE FORCED TO SPEND "QUALITY TIME" WITH YOUR PARENTS

26] YOU CANT SLEEP BECAUSE OF WEIRD NOISES LIKE REALLY ANNOYING CRICKETS!
27] UNPREDICTABLE WEATHER
28] YOU COULD (USUALLY DO) END UP GETTING LOST.
29] STUPID PEOPLE THAT HAVE CAR ALARMS THAT GO OFF AT 3 IN THE MORNING.
30] WHEN YOU GET PEOPLE NEXT TO YOU THAT GET DRUNK AND LIGHT FIRES WITH GASOLINE..HAHA *BAD EXPIERIENCE* LOL
31] WHEN YOU WAKE UP AT MIDNIGHT AND HAVE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM EVEN THOUGH ITS LIKE A 15 MINUTE WALK..IN THE DARK.
32] FLASHLIGHTS THAT ONLY WORK WHEN THEY WANT TO.
33]WHEN YOU ARE IN YOUR TENT HAVING A CONVERSATION AND THEN YOU SUDDENLY REALIZE THAT EVERYONE OUTSIDE CAN HEAR EVERYTHING YOU ARE SAYING.
34] NOSIES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT THAT SCARE THE **** OUTTA YOU CUZ YOU THINK ITS SOME WILD ANIMAL.

36] WALKING BACK FROM THE BATHROOM OR SOMEWHERE WHEN ITS DARK AND ALL OF A SUDDEN AND DEER JUMPS OUTTA NOWHERE AND YOU SCREAM AND RUN FOR YER LIFE CUZ YOU THINK ITS SOME CRAZY PHYSCO KILLER. LOL

I used to like camping, but yeah, my bones don't like sleeping on the ground any more. Best Western for me too.
