Ok I don't know what all these people are talking about but the cowboys are going to win the nfc east. There will be no if ands or buts about it. Tony Romo is the real deal he will get the job done with a trip to Hawaii again and so will Terrell Owens this time around ( even though he got cheated out of going last year). As far as defense oh man its gonna be ugly you noted everything thats good but you forgot one thing with the addition of Ken Hamlin that will allow Roy Williams to sneak down into the box and let him just attack the line of scrimmage and that's what he does best let's face it he's a head hunting llinebacker playing safety lol. So I say 12-4 season trip to NFC championship game against bears and they will win cause their a better team just need some direction but I think they will get it from Wade. So lookout here comes da cowboys!!!!!!!!!!

The Eagles will win the NFC east this year, just like they have been doing practically every season since Reid took over. We all know both of these teams are talented, but the Eagles will win because of the following reasons
1) They have a better offense. The Eagles have easily one of the top 5 offensive lines in the league. Even with Garcia ( a 93 year old noodle-armed gay guy) leading for half of the season, the Eagles were second in the league in yards, and 6th in points. Although the Cowboys were 5th and 4th in those categories, they also turned the ball over a hell of a lot more.
2) The Eagles will run the ball more. This will open up the deep ball, and they have some speedy receivers. We all know Dallas doesnt have two good corners and that Roy Williams couldn't cover my sister.
3) T.O..... he's been eerily quiet this offseason. I can't wait to hear what he has to say.
4) More Depth - The Eagles have depth basically everywhere. With the exception of Marion Barber, I wouldn't take any of the cowboys backups over an Eagles in any position.
5) The Eagles overcome injuries. Last season the Eagles lost their starting qb, best pass rusher, top corner, top wr, starting linebacker, and numerous other productive players for 3 or more games at a time. Other players like Dawkins and Westbrook played through injuries. Yet the Eagles came together and made it work. Dallas cannot do that. They have plenty of talent, but they're an injury away from collapsing.
6) The Eagles defense will be much improved. Remember the beginning of last season? Before The Freak got injured? Their D-Line was ridiculous, and it allowed them to stack the box and stop the run. Now they have Spikes to help out too. The Cowboys definitely still have a better D, but the Eagles closed the gap.

With a new coach for Dallas(Wade Phillips) and a bit of A new spark at Defense. I Think Anthony Spencer(rookie out of Purdue) is gona give Dallas that extra boost they need. If we got A qualtiy cornerback I Think we could certainly have the best Defense in the leage. Greg Ellis is getting older and recovering off of a injury but he can still play. I LOVE the combo at running back with Julius Jones and Marion Barber, Who is also a great fantasy football pick. Terell Owens needs to shut up and play and catch the ball. (He had the most drops in the leage along with the most touchdowns).
The Offensive line is heathly. Frozell Adams is expected to have a big year on the O-line. Patrick Crayton is underrated at wide reciver. I think the Cowboys will win the divison.
P.S. I am a HUGE Cowboys fan.

I have to agree with you, this is Dallas' division to lose this season. Washington is a joke, the Giants are hanging on by a thread, and Philly will be competative, but not enough to stop the Cowboys. I don't even like Dallas, but I can't see them finishing anywhere else but first in the division. Wade Phillips will make this defense better, which is scary since they were already a top 5 defense. The Offense will have to hope that Tony Romo has a better second half to his season in '07 than he did in '06. Plus, T.O. can't lead the league in dropped passes again.
Coming back and reading the rest of these comments, its funny reading what the Philly fans keep saying over, and over. "The Eagles are the better team and will win it all, as long as they stay healthy." I know that Philly is a good team, and very capable of winning the division, but year after year it is the same thing--- "if they stay healthy." This team has been injury plagued for years, especially at a position that you can not keep loosing your #1-- QB. I know every team has to battle injury problems over the season, but no other NFC team has had worst luck with injuries over the last 5 years than the Eagles. Sorry, I just think its funny that in this debate it keeps getting said--- "if they stay healthy, the Eagles are better." If Donovan gets injured again this season, expect him to be wearing a different uniform next season, or even sooner. Why do you think Andy Reid drafted Kolb??

You are right. they do not realize that Tony Romo will be a way better QB than mcNabb. T.O. and the other recievers will have been use to Romo, making them that much better. i favor them to win the division. i dont know where they will be in the conference. but a good passing game and an obvious power house running duo will do a lot. that will probably be the best offense in the conference. i only see maybe san fransisco being better if they gel quickly, but their D-fence sucks baaaawls. the other conference though, has maybe 10 teams better then the Cowboys. well then there are the bears and saints. but the bears i think will lose some of their defensive steam and i think teams will be ready for brees and company when they come around. if the cowboys get really lucky, they will make it to the superbowl. but i would bet big money they wouldnt win.

Don't count me as one of the guys picking Philly to beat Dallas in their division. Dallas has WAY more tallent, not to mention the leagues FORMER best defensive coordinator as their new head coach in the form of Wade Phillips from San Diego. Look for an EXPLOSIVE Dallas team this year that will probably surprise a LOT of people. Not a Dallas fan, but the writing is on the wall for Dallas to be a dominant force in the NFC for the next few seasons at least.

Lets list the weapons the eagles have ahem: Mcnabb, westbrook, jevon kearse, trotter, dawkins, sheppard, brown, spikes now, curtis, reggie brown, all of those are pro bowl players and i didnt even mention the O-Line and most of the D-Line. And how is dallas more talented? Give me a GOOD explanation. Mcnabb is better than romo, he puts up amazing numbers with mediocre WR's at best. Ya he was hurt 3 out of the last 5 years but when hes healthy hes the most complete QB in the league. Westbrook is one of the best and most versitile RB's in the league. The defense when playing at there best is one of the best in the league. Jim Johnson is the best Defensive coordinator in the league (prove me wrong). Not to mention now the eagels addd Tony Hunt to there already decent backfield. So not they have power in the back as well as speed and versatility with westbrook. Oh and did I mention brian dawkins making the pro bowl at over 30 years of age. Not to mention the rest of the eagles DB's that were injured last year and still stopped TO. It will be close but i dont want to hear how the cowboys have more talent.

Dallas and Philadelphia both have great teams. Dallas has talent on both sides of the ball.Same with Philadelphia as well. Dallas ,to me though, has the better offense. Not b/c of Romo, but b/c of Jones,Barber, TO, Terry Glenn, Patrick Crayton, Jason Witten, and they have a great offensive line. The Eagle have McNabb, Westbrook, and Smith with a decent offensive line. They both made good acquisitions in the offseason to improve their defenses. Dallas got Hamlin in F/A to add to their defense.Philly got Spikes to add leadership and experience to the younger guys. Special teams is good for both, but I gotta give it to Dallas with Gramatica. To me, overall Dallas would get a B + and Philly would get a B-.Dallas and Philly should make the playoffs as well.

I'd say you're completely wrong.
To me, Philly is the better team by a long shot. I think they'll end up at least 11-5 because of their great offense with Westbrook and McNabb(if he can stay healthy) and their defense is one of the best too.
Dallas though will only get up to about 8-8. Romo's not really that great and they really don't have much on either side of the ball. Actually, they might be a surprise this year, surprisingly bad.

I see Dallas winning the division at 11-12 wins and getting a first round bye. The defensive upgrades are the primary reason along with Terrell Owens return to health.
Dallas was the only team outside of the AFC South to beat the Super Bowl champion Colts.
