is there a 13th floor in hotels or do they just skip it and go to the 14th

I've been in plenty of buildings with a 13th floor. It's a superstition for retards.

I work at a hotel that has a 13th floor. Some people think that this is strange. I think for a building not to have a 13th floor is much stranger.

Many call it 14th floor, but no matter what they call it,it is really still the 13th floor. My building has 15 floors, but really is only 14 floors as they call the 13th floor 14.

Depends on the hotel and whether it caters to Western guests. I have been in hotels in Asia with a 13th floor. Hotels have come up with ingenious ways to rename the 13th floor - 12A or just forget the number.

the builders actually number the 13th floor the 14th floor because of superstition. however just because one numbers the floor 14 in actuality the floor is still 13. a rose by any other name is still a rose.

There is a 13th floor in every building, they just call it the 14th because supersticious people won't stay on it and you can't just leave a whole floor empty right?

in some hotels they skip the 13 th floor a lot of people believe that the number 13 is bad luck but I was born on Friday the 13 th in Oct. I always look at the 13 th as being my lucky number, They also say midnight is the witching hour but it has been proven that more things happen around 3 am.

Even if they don't say there is a 13th floor, when you push the 14th floor botton, guess what floor your really on , 13th

There is definitely a 13th floor in each hotel.
I live on the 13th floor myself!!! And have a beautiful view of the city!!!
