How do I tell my boss that I need to take a leave?please answer b4 end of the day guys..?

Type up a nice note explaining your leave and expected return date.Or if you want to be more personal simply explain to your boss that something is going on right now in your life that you need to deal with and you don't want it to interfere with your performance at work.If you have been a valuable employee then your boss should have no reason to say no as long as you are really planning to return to work . Everyone needs a break in order to avoid burnout. If it is a situation that you cannot handle on your own then seek EAP( employee assistance program) , they can help you with counseling.And notify your employer in advance if you need more time or will not return, you might need that reference for the next job.Good Luck!!!

2) Say, "I need a moment of your time. Is there a private place where we can talk?"

3) Explain to your boss why you need time off.

4) Ask for time off.

5) Be understanding if you can't get the time off when you want it.

6) Ask for the next best time to take off.

7) If no luck, begin search for a new and much better job.

Walk rite up, ask for a minute&22seconds of his time(that gives a time limit for the conversation)(your advantage). Andlet him know how imortant this leave is to you!! Thank him for considering it, excuse yourself(times up). And hope for the best!!!

Just give him/her a written request on a piece of paper 7 put it on his desk...dont forget to mention the dates & reason for leave.
