There is no debate over whether it is real or not. It is real. Whats under debate is the impact of human activities on it, whether it's acceleration is part of the earth's life cycle, what are the consequences of it, and can we humans have any impact to slow or change it. It is a very complicated system that involves much more than just greenhouse gases.

We should be very concerned for our children. Nobody wants to see millions even billions of people die from extreme weather or starvation.

Of course it is and we should be worried..that is if you are more interested in the planet rather than money, eh. The only reason most scientist tell you is not real is because gov't officials pay them to say otherwise, because it will make the gov't look really, really bad and ppl will realize that the govt has lied along the whole time. But who cares right!, Is not like we are going to live 100 years from now, when we finish feeling its effects. No, that's our children's and our grandchildren problems. F'n Earthlings!

Although it is still a highly debated question, there's more apparent evidence that it is real than that it's not. The most obvious evience that it is a threat to our planet are the melting ice caps: http://www.newscientist.com/article.ns?id=dn9717

Even if only half of the polar ice melted, it would still cause a lot of problems, particularly with flooding of coastal areas. A lot of polar bears also depend on that ice for their habitat so melting of the ice caps also poses many environmental concerns

You don't need to do any research or think at all to know your opinion of global warming. Since it has become such a hot political issue, just check with your party.

Democrats: Real
Republicans: Not Real

Provided opinions are much easier and simpler and save time.

throughout history - the earth has been through several ice ages where the ice caps have been covered and not covered - we are coming out of an ice age - so the earth is heating up - this is a natural process - the question is has the speed of global warming been increased. - and the evidence is yes

Global warming is an issue, however not as big of an issue as all people think. The world will end, and it has been that wy since it started. Global warming or no, the world would be falling apart right now anyway.

sorry I have no links.this is what I know.
