Okay, this has been bothering me for quite some time now but I've been too embarrassed to talk to any of any friends about it for a particular reason. That being - this isn't your average question and I'm not looking to be made fun of. Let me start off by saying that I am sexually active but not too frequently. I noticed about a year ago that the left side (on the inside) of my labia is quite longer than the right and when my legs are closed, it still sticks out a bit. We've all watched porn and usually the women who are more active have....bigger...lips. But I am no where near as active as them and I don't know how in the world this happened but basically what I'm asking is...how do I get rid of it? I do keigles on a daily basis and have even went 6 months without sex to see if it would help...but it hasn't. What do I do? I am so sick of it I have seriously considered asking my gyno to cut it of...lol. In all seriousness though, please help me.

Its nothing at all to do with sex, its genetics - you were born this way. Bigger lips are more sexy than small ones, and having one side longer than the other is quite common as well. You dont need to be worrying about this and you certainly dont need to have it cut off! Leave it alone and continue having sex, its all normal.

No, this has nothing to do with your amount of sexual activity. Some women are born with larger labia than others, and some are uneven. I have actually seen an episode of Dr 90210 about a woman that had reconstructive surgery on her labia to reduce their size and even them out. It's actually a common procedure. Kegels aren't going to do a thing for this. Kegels exercise the muscles inside your vagina. What I would do is research a board certified plastic surgeon and go on some consults.

darling, honestly it has nothing to do with how often you have sex. And please dont compare yourself to porn stars almost all of it is edited to make things unnatural you know? It's just the way your body formed and i am telling you seriously, whether your with a guy or a girl for sex, the last thing on their mind is how perfect your lips are... You said your very active and that is something to be proud of. dont worry about the little things. Im sure your beautiful the way you are.

What you're describing is completely normal. It's very common for one "lip" to be longer than the other. It doesn't have anything to do with sexual activity or anything you ever did or didn't do. It's genetic, the same as having a large nose.

I think that's just the way a woman is (or isn't). If you think about it, if it were caused by excessive sexual activity, then BOTH sides would be longer.

Certainly if it bothers you, talk to your gynecologist about it. I would think that minor surgery could correct the issue.

This has nothing to do with sexual activity. This is natural. There is a website of a doctor that does this kind of surgery, and if the before and after pics don't put you off the idea, nothing will. www.labiaplastysurgeon.com/ . Don't do it.

has nothing to do with activity, i simply is how you are made, exercises wont change the lips. you can have expensive plastic surgery but its not anything you really need to worry about. some men actually like it. but its your body and your money, the gynocologist wont cut it, however he might tell you which plastic surgeons deal with vaginal surgery. by the way, im almost 60

That is just how you are. There is a plastic surgery procedure that can reduce the size, but unless it hurts or gets in the way during sex, I'd leave it alone.

Seriously, most women do NOT look like the girls in the porn movies. There is nothing wrong with you, this is what most of us look like! If you are really worried, talk to your gynecologist about it!

This has nothing to do with anything except you, sex has nothing to do with it. We are all different - size, weight, shape, and all our parts. Don't be concerned about this at all it is just you, and nothing to worry or be concerned about. you do not have to be concerned about having sex relax and don't cut it off there is no need to.
