Why do people eat at subway? It is really just as bad as eating at McDonalds. Subway is high in sodium and people know what happens when they have to much sodium.

Well you never said what happens when you eat excess sodium either. No one said fast food was healthy to eat, but Subway is a better alternative, and thats what they are marketing. They aren't selling miracle foods, they are selling SMARTER CHOICES.

Sodium is high in almost all fast food settings, but its not nearly as high as McDonalds, Burger King, or Hardees now is it? Also fat is not a big problem in the Subway line up. Haven't you read the napkins with Subs under 6 grams of fat? Not many things I can think of under 6 Grams of fat at McDonalds.

As far as the side effects of too much sodium: High Blood Pressure, Cardiovascular Problems, and Water Retention.

As I previously stated, it is a smarter choice.

Now make a smart choice, and don't ever post such an idiotic question again.

People love these places because they can go through a drive and get their food quicker then going in and sitting down. I assume Subway is a well known place because their prices are pretty cheap. I do not eat at any fast food nor Subway anyway. I prefer fresh, like vegetables from my garden.

Subway is not as bad as Mcd's at all...it all depends on what you order on whether the sodium is high or not. IFor instance if you get a veggie sub or turkey sub with oil and vinegar, it definitely not as bad as getting a big mac, not anywhere near the amount of sodium, calories, and fat.

No it's not Subway is much better then McDonalds. Yes some things are not good for you, but they have a lot of healthy choices...McDonalds doesn't.

The food at Subway's is actually good. The food at Mickey Dee's makes me sick to my stomach!

It's not all about the sodium. There is also calories and fat content people check out. Also....raw veggies are awesome for your body.

Its better since you choose your ingredients , and if you leave out cheese and the mayo etc them its low in sodium and healthier for you..

Take care..
