Ok, im not some creepy person, im a normal girl with good friends. But my problem is that very few ppl like me,(ppl that i work with) i mean as in i guess my personality really sucks. Im not a b**** at work, im always smiling and im friendly and i help my coworkers out alot, I dunno, i laugh alot and im LOUD and outgoing and im an unloader 4 walmart. basically i do a "mans" job unloading trucks, but i look like a girl and i dress like 1 (i DO NOT look dirty or manly in anyway)...and it seems like guys like me and wanna hang out but when they find out about my job, they totally change. same as some girls too. Really I just hate always being judged cuz of my job and my loud, boyish personality, i mean wats the matter with me????.Im just like the girl who works in cosmetics, why r ppl so sexist about jobs?

Guys are just stupid when it comes to a woman doing a man's job. I did a man's job for ten years and put up with more bigotry and sexual harassment than you can believe. Some men were really threatened that I, or any other woman, could do their job. Some totally didn't give a hoot, and these were my friends.
I was accused of being a lesbian or a whore on a daily basis until they actually met me. Then they shut up as I am neither.
My dear, I cried all the way to the bank. Man's job, man's wages; I really enjoyed that part. The best was taking my money to high dollar stores and buying divine clothes and shoes...
So don't let Johnny's fear of masculine inadequacy get to you. Some guys will never be real men. A real man knows that its not the job that makes them a man, but who they are that makes them a real man.
My only suggestion is to tone it down. No one likes being around loud people, especially at work. Loud people get noticed by the boss. People don't like getting noticed by the boss, because the people the boss notices all the time get fired for being loud even if they are doing their job.

I have no idea - I wonder the same thing myself sometimes. I was the girl who went to the beach and somehow committed the unsocial, unspeakable crime of going in the water and actually swimming! I hardly ever dated, and I was the girl who drove a truck, lived in a tent, and worked as the lifeguard in the summer and as a ski lift operator in the winter! Why guys never dated me, I'll never know, (unless it was that bit about me not 'putting out' for just any guy but my husband of fifteen years...)
I say continue being you, and let it be okay to be you! Unforgiving people who can't accept you for who you are are the ones who are missing out on a great person and a good friend. Yes, it's lonely being different, but I would rather be the one laughing at the world than being miserable with a bunch of miserable people. But real friends are worth finding and keeping for a lifetime, and not just for a month or two.
And your personality doesn't suck - it's their poor attitudes that suck. You don't need it, and you don't deserve it. I say have fun driving the forklift, learn how to drive and operate the front-end loader, the backhoe, the tractor, and the motorcycle on your weekends...

Because when a guy hears that a female works a male dominated job and acts boyish, their I guess called "L-Dar". A.K.A. Lesbian goes off and assumes away. After that they dont feel like they have a chance for a relationship or sex and just brush you off. Corse this is shallow but most men are, try finding the deeper ones that dont judge too quick.

I don't know why people are so judgemental that is just not nice. I have a little of that problem too. I wear makeup and jewelry and have my hair done regular just because it is me. Some people think I am upity and think I am too good. But on the other hand I love to work in my yard and dig in the dirt and all that too. It is just me..... So, I have friends that know me and accept me for who I am and how I am. May not have a lot of friends but the ones I do have are fun and good ones!!!!!!!!! Just be you and to heck with them and love yourself, you are unique!

I have been in that same situation before and it sucks! I am a tom boy and have always been one but I dress nice but I do a mans job. I guess if they don't like you then that is there problem. I just learned to talk to them even if they didn't like me. eventually they will start to like you.
