and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound; would you disguise yourself as a mild-mannered reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper or spend all your time fighting for truth, justice and the American way?

I'd fight for truth, justice, and the American way full time (this assumes that the American way would never contradict truth or justice).

Yeah, we obviously have too many mild mannered reporters as it is. I do what I can, having only ordinary powers and maybe more than my share of weaknesses. I've been hoping my super powers will kick in, but I'm long past puberty and still nothing.

You didn't say if the body is invincible or not so I'll say no. So faster than a speeding bullet could hurt if you ram into something (kind of the bug on windshield effect). More powerful than a locomotive? Big deal. What do you do work for Amtrak then? Pulling railroad cars around all day? Able to leap tall buildings is wonderful it's the landing I'm worried about.

How do you fight crime when every second there are millions of cases happening and how do you save people when disasters happen in such a massive area of destruction? You just dont have enough time to save everyone with the slighty faster speed of a speeding bullet. Might as well use it for efficient and increased production rate in a business. At least you earn a living that way and you wont need to worry about food, shelter and clothing. Hey, even heroes need these things too right? Without money they'll just be starving, homeless and wrapping themselves with newspaper while saving the world(?) LOL!

I would be able to clean and maintain my flat. As for being a mild mannered reporter, it wouldn't work since reporters need to be aggressive to get good stories, which I would do, eventually writing books and producing a humorously dry crime TV series based on my cases which I secretly solved and openly reported about.

No. I don't want to be Superman - because all Superman characters had bad things happened to them. BUT, i'd like to help all the people that needed me especially those that are being kidnapped and raped then left in the field just like that.
