are ugly? Because you try to make your avatar look like you...I know looks don't matter...and if they are a cool person...who cares? But, I am curious about what you think!!!

Ho Ho Ho, your avatar is so sexy...don't make me look at it... I think I might melt. I meant the Yahoo! Avatars avatars that are meant to look like people. Only those.

No because if they are really ugly they can use their imagination and make it look like the person they wished they look like. I think ugly avatars are either people with low self-esteem or they want to be funny or make it look like someone they know.
And there's not that many options on Yahoo! Avatars or any other avatar thing, because avatars don't really look like real people and there's only like 7 different faces you can have. There are a lot more than 7 different types of faces in the world. They don't have all the outfits in the world either...
And I don't have flowers in my hair or anything. I just think it looks kind of pretty. And I wanted straight longish blonde hair and that was one of the only ones.

Well you can be surprised. Because sometimes people post their photo with their avatar or else change it after a while, so you see the real person and the cartoon.
Quite often the person is really good-looking but has an ugly avatar. The funny thing is, most people are actually better looking than their avatar. Either they are clueless at making a nice avatar, or they honestly see themselves as unattractive.

I have to be honest...
Whenever you see an avatar which is.. not quite as striking as another... that only means that the user being truly honest about portraying the way they look IRL as an avatar. Rarely will someone who is hot IRL, make a "regular" or "ugly" avatar.
But there are lots of people who may not be the most attractive IRL, who make their avatars better looking than they really are.
Truly, you shouldn't judge IRL attractiveness based upon someones avatar....

I do subconsciously expect a person to look at least a little like their avatar. I associate ugly avatars with ugly people. I don't look exactly like mine, but I tried to make it look as much like me as possible. I think you can also tell a lot about a person's style by looking at their avatar.

I've not really seen any avatars that I would consider ugly. I've seen them with scrunched up angry faces and I think those folks are just pissed or constipated.
