Why does the public still believe the Carlyle Group (The ex-presidents club) and the REAL foreign policy makers want peace in the middle east?

What they want is a acceptable level of violence to maintain high oil profits. - How much of oil corporations do you think own and /or get paychecks from?

It's a profit deal...get it?

(google Carlyle Group)

I don't think it is a matter of brains as much as approach to the problem. The Middle East problem requires understanding and empathy. Tony Blair will take the attitude that he knows what is best for, and will try to impose his own take on the situation. Had he not done this is 2003, we would not have a substantial part of the problem today. In summary Blair in the Middle East will not be seen as 'honest broker', which is what the job requires. His appointment is simply a reward for adding British casualties to the American deaths in Iraq, and that is how it will be viewed.

Bearing in mind the number of deaths he's responsible for, will anyone in the middle east want to deal with him?

Bush / Blair are not interested in middle eastern peace just yet - they've only caused the deaths of a few hundred thousand so far and Iran has to be attacked yet. Spread that "safe" depleted DU around - them pesky rag heads will die out 'cos all their children will be born deformed forever. Google Iraq deformed children and have a real good look at what these two murderers have done in the name of "freedom" (or is it "profit"?)

Bush / B-liar should hang as war criminals.

Blair has the brains to help in the Middle East, but one of the biggest problem is that some concerned parties have already a biased negative attitude towards Tony Blair and his ally Bush. His efforts may not be appreciated because of the bias.

Tony Blair for all his faults has made a big difference in settling the madness that was northern Irish politics.

I hope that the dogg-ed resolve shown by him to end the troubles in Ireland also helps him to do the same in Palestine.. If there is one thing that TB is good at! - its talking!.. Everyone knows guns and bullets wont end the crisis only add to it.

So talking is the only real way to end the misery!.

well he had the brains to cause a war in the middle east, so maybe its time he put right his mistakes, the one thing wrong with that is he's probably being paid a fortune for it.

Israel has not been able to get along with it's neighbors for 5,000 years. That predates Islam or Christianity. The only time it has peace is when it is occupied.
