Seeing as how over a million people have fled the War in Iraq- to other Countries, I think you'll have NO PROBLEM finding houses for sale THERE... Iran, on the other hand- has a housing shortage (exacerbated by people fleeing Iraq !), so THAT could present a problem. Just remember, if you decide to buy into the Real Estate market in Iraq, make SURE you know who your neighbors are... -Replacing windows & patching holes made by mortar rounds- gets expensive after awhile... :)
