I’m just wondering because I’m 16 and friends are telling me that I need to get out and have fun, but I’m not ready.

well, I'm 17 and I haven't lost mine yet, and I don't plan to anytime soon. Don't worry about them, because I get it too from my friends. I tell them that I am not going to lose my virginity to the first guy that tells me I'm pretty, special, etc. Just keep the belief that it will mean so much more if you wait... that's what I'm doing and I feel better because of it.

Who cares how old anyone else was. If you think you're not ready, then you're not. You have your whole life ahead of you. Why complicate your existence now? I waited a lot longer and am glad that I did. I got dumped by quite a few guys when they figured out that I wouldn't put out. I was fine with it and had a lot of fun. Particularly since I didn't have to raise children when I was a child myself, like some of my friends did.

13 and it was too young. I wish I would have waited longer. My friends were all older and said the same thing to me. It caused me some serious trust issues for many years.Trust yourself. Don't do it just to do it and get it over with. When you are ready you will know.

There are so many more ways to have fun, keep that until you know for 100% sure that they are the right one, it's given away much to easily and freely today, and it is a special thing!

I was 17. Don't let your friends push you into doing something you aren't ready for. You'll know when your ready.

I was 17 and I got raped, I hated every minute of it. I really started loving it when I turned 20.

you can have fun with out losing your virginity.
friends trying to convince you in to losing your virginity are not good friends , that's up to you not them.
I didn't lose it till I got marred.

im 24 and havent..have had the oportunity but theres no point if its not the right sort of person..
