Was wondering how to remove sweat stains from white T-Shirts. They are a 50/50 Polyester/Cotton mix, as they don't seem to shrink much is why I choose to wear them. Does that make it harder for the sweat stains to come out?

I've tried bleach, a whole gallon of vinegar in a wash of whites, & some generic non-bleach whitener powder.

Any ideas? I'd hate to buy new ones as I'm a cheap. HEHE

If the stains have set for a long period of time it may be that you're stuck with them. However, next time you take off that dirty t-shirt spray it with a stain and spot remover before tossing it into the laundry basket. And make sure you wash them with a little cholorox when you do laundry. And also washing them within a couple of days of wear will help the stains from setting too deep. Just remember the spray!

I have tried all those thing you did, doesn't work on some sweat stains
I spend way too much time trying to solve problems like this!
I changed deodorant, and I totally quit wearing white t-shirts.
I like being cheap about some things, but the time wasted on those stains was wasteful, so thats why I stopped wearing white t-shirts.
btw, why is it that my husband works outside, and his sweat doesn't make those stains?

Try washing them in hot water then lay them out in the sun(pit side up) and let it just sun bleach them white. It works on the 50/50 tees well. Then I would suggest that you try Mitchum Dry for deodorant it stops perspiration...
