I was playing basketball and this guy like backwards headbutted me, so it cut my chin that bled for a while, and my tongue bled even longer, but they both stopped, after i rinsed it out. But the problem is that I can't feel the right side of my mouth, and the part I can feel when I try to close it hurts, also it looks like the back tooth may have been bent/pushed to the outside. And the bottom of my chin that got hit looks inflamed. What can I do to make sure my face doesn't scar and to make sure my teeth are ok? And is it ok to go tomorrow to the doctor/dentist if I have to go at all?

As long as you don't have concussion symptoms [ headache, blurred vision, confusion, dizziness, nausea ] , go in the morning. Rinse your mouth with salt water and brush your teeth very gently. Rinse again before bed, and in AM.

I would use ice for any swelling and an antiseptic like hydrogen peroxide or salt water for any open wounds, including inside your mouth. I do think it would be a good idea to see a dentist to get your tooth fixed.

You really should see a 'sports medicine doctor' ... but you may wait until tomorrow (Thursday) if you want. The 'worrisome' thing is that you can't feel the right side of your mouth, and that one tooth is 'pushed out' ... so you do need 'x-rays' and possible treatment.

go to the dentist and doctor. I wouldn't ignore it. Maybe listerine would help an infection inside your mouth, but I would still go to the doctor

everyone on here worries way too much. put some ice on it for now and call your dentist in the morning if it seems your teeth are out of whack.

Go to Urgent Care now. Find out if you need stitches and have the numbness checked out.
