What are some improvements you would like to see in the world today?

I want to see the minds' of the masses opened. People are too narrow minded. For example, in politics, some people can't think outside the party lines. Whatever their party believes, they believe. Furthermore, it causes too much conflict. People want everyone to abide by their standards and their beliefs whether it be about religion, politics, abortion, gay marriage, music, views of life, sports, or many other futile topics. If man was able to accept and respect the beliefs and opinions of others, this world would be changed for the better. So many of our problems would be eliminated.

I'd like to see more value paid to the truly important things in life. The people.The fact that wer'e having this dialogue is I guess a certain right step in that direction too. A chance for an average guy like myself to voice his honest humble opinion, or make some contribution to others around him, if even in the smallest way. To help ourselves, and others around us, in the most humblest of ways, has great benefit in life.

There are too many people living in this world without good healthcare coverage (insurance and proper healthcare too). We ought to be ashamed of the fact that we let others go without, when we have in the United States, over 8 million millionaires living in this country today. I remember hearing a priests sermon when I was a teenager in high school. He basically said "we need to give a damn about our fellow man". By truly caring about others around us, we show to God, ourselves, and the rest of the world, how great we really are. By not doing this, we show what wer'e really all about, and probably not worth a tinkers damn in the eyes of the creator, and the world.

We need to make more available means for career advancement for the many, and not just the few, in todays world. Make a college education and good solid job skill training available to anyone who wants it. There are good people all around us that deserve to have this available for them. We are only a great people when we have all the greatest concern for all of god's people, and no arrogance in life. Too many people are going without this or that for themselves and their families, and this should never be, in the richest land that ever was. We aren't great, unless we make the people around us great. There are some great individuals that understood this truth, and used it to their advantage, to build great wealth and success around them. There are certainly too many people imprisoned today in this world, and this is evidence, I guess, of how great we ain't. We need to be truly concerned about this and push hard for dramatic changes in our world around us. Let's not take God and the world for granted. The future of mankind is upon us now. Remember, the only problems in the world, are the ones that we have created and allowed to exist for ourselves. Let's all first powerfully envision a much better world around us existing, and then sincerely work at creating it for real. There is truly an incredible amount of power in an individual effort, however, one without the many is nothing. All of us need to exist for the betterment of all, in order to truly affect change on a grandiose scale.
