Where do these voices originate from. I know they come from the other end of the line. But could they be mutations created in an underground facility (perhaps area 51)? Are they recruited from a dark insidious phone agency? Is there an easier way to communicate with them? I found they want to extrude my important personal info. to fullfill their objectives. They are hard-core persistent, usually polite, and most of all confusing because of the accent. Perhaps we should worry less about immigration and more about whoever these people are. They invade our personal privacy and demand our attention on a daily basis. This I find in your face bothersome.

It's all about foreigners! The big companies actually have their customer service calls get forwarded to India or some other country. I called support for my computer and talked to like 3 people I couldn't understand! It's a major pain. I actually ended up signing up for a service that I don't remember talking about because I couldn't understand the people on the other end of the line!! It's awful... if unemployment is so bad in the US let them answer customer service calls... at least I could understand what they are saying!!

Yes, it's pretty bad, when you cannot understand a word they say!
It seems like the would get into some other line of work, until they can improve on being understood better.
we just had a phone message from a nurse taking care of grandma in ICU, and we could not understand a word of her message.(phillipino, not that that matters)

Try the "opt-out" program; it is supposed to stop telemarketers (charities, police organizations, etc., are exempted).
But, hey, it is probably because these people are from India, the Philippines or Russia and they have not yet learned to speak the way we do, esp. those from India.
