Yes to cold. Like when the wind blows & you are talking or something. But they make a special kind of toothpaste its for sensitive teeth- I use it. It is:

they arent really sensitive to hot, but they are very sensitive to cold, especially my front teeth

sometimes the ones in the back have a hard time with cold stuff like icecream..i have bad teeth!

both, but mainly cold. I hate public water fountains as I can't drink from them. Why do they make the water as cold as an iceberg?
