I'm sitting at the computer desk right next to our sliding back door which is open.
The back light is on and I can see Einstein, my dog, (120lb black lab mix) rolling in a mud patch created by the sprinklers. He's happy until a firework sounds off in the distance at which point his heckles are raised and he charges the fence.
He just came in to check on me, gave my leg a good lick and nuzzle, then took off out the door again to guard his yard and check out the sprinkler system again.
God I love my dog.

They're not but me right now because the kids have food,so therefore are more interesting at the moment. Usually the big dog's at my feet, the little dog's in my lap and the cat is the back of the chair.
EDIT the food is gone and my dogs have returned to me.

Well, he would be if he could but...when my husband (who is a dork by the way) put in the underground fence he ran the wire right next to the house on one side. Well, needless to say that is the side of the house that the computer sits, so the dog starts to beep like a ticking time bomb when he gets too close to the PC. So he (my yellow lab named "naptime Charlie") is in his kennel waiting patiently for me to close the door. :)

Oh yes right here in my arms, a little 2 & 3/4 pound teacup long hair Chihuahua/Mini Maltese mix, he is so sweet and tis like you are not holding much of anything, ohhhhh he is looking up at me ... so precious gotta love him... and I do, he is relaxing after having a nice little walk....

im a total dog lover..im crazy for dogs..my dog is right behind me..on the couch..with her blanket on her..i of course put it on her in case shes cold..shes sleeping..

My yellow labrador is asleep in her bed, which is at the foot of my bed. She had her usual tough day: eating her breakfast, barking at thunder, charging around the house looking for her toys, whining to go for a walk, actually going for a walk, taking a long mid-day nap, being sappy and looking for affection (and receiving it), whining again for another walk but not getting one, following me around the house, eating her dinner, going for another walk, collapsing for the night.

i have two dogs. one is a german sheperd mix and the other one is a chihuahua mix. the chihuahua is sleeping in my lap as i write this lol
