First person shooter: Battlefield 2 or Killzone
Arcade Style Racing: Burnout Dominator
Arcade and Simulation: Gran Turismo 4 (probably the best racing game I've ever played)

Well I don't really know much about the best first person shooting game but I think that BurnOut: Dominator is the best racing game for PS2. It is the hottest racing game ever to be released for any console I think. I have it for PSP and I think it rocks!!!
