I just accidentally stumbled across it one day after it had been available for quite a while and I"ve been here every since . Just over a year now .

I was looking for a solution on how to navigate quickly between Yahoo! products and was using the Help Central info. I could not find an answer, so they suggested Yahoo!Answers. I spent a lot of "early days" in pets and Home/Garden. Then my goal was to answer at least one question in every category. But when I got to P&S, it just felt like "home" so that now I never stray too far off from P&S.

It started off like this:
I was bored one day, I happened to come accross Yahoo Answers on the main page. I clicked on the link, I already had a Yahoo email address so I decided Yeah sure why not looks interesting and here I am today still answering questions.

I started because of my mum.
I spend most of my time in the pet birds section because I've been breeding budgies for 11years and want to help people with their problems
And just starting breeding cockatiels & zebra finches and want to see whaT problems or advice they have so I can help my new birds

I don't remember how I first found it - but I have always been the guy that ANYONE would turn to for advice...
Ever since - I have been hooked. Both for helping people out, and occasionally letting my smartassed side out for a little bit of harmless fun.
With all the Trolls around here, how can you NOT be a smartass once in a while? ;););););)

I wanted to know how to fix a problem with my Yahoo Messenger. The funny thing is that I never did fix my messenger. To answer your other question, no. I didn't ever think I'd become a Y!A junkie.

I inherited it from my late uncle. He wasn't really dead, just late. He was always late and half dead from partying. He let me have his Yahoo account, and I have turned 20,000 points into 1000 points by just sheer genius.
