Everyone answering this question is saying "go and see a doctor", to which I can only reply, "ditto." If he got hit in the head 4 months ago, it's unlikely that your boyfriend has bleeding in the brain, as someone else here mentioned. Any kind of intracranial bleeding is a medical emergency, and your boyfriend would have died a long time ago if that was the problem. That doesn't preclude a brain injury, however, as not all (or even most) blows to the head result in bleeding in the brain. He might have something known as "post-concussion syndrome." A visit to a physician, possibly followed by a referral to a neurologist, would be a good idea.
The temple is considered a vulnerable area because the skull is relatively thin there. A blow to the temple, however, need not necessarily be fatal. A long time ago, in a different career, I worked in an intensive care unit where one of the patients shot himself in the temple. He was depressed that his girlfriend had left him. He blow both his eyeballs out, but he lived.

I don't know what is wrong with him, but blunt force trauma to the head should be checked out immediately. Some serious brain bleeding is notorious for showing up days or even weeks later. I don' t think four months is within the realm of this possibility, but since he has symptoms, he should seek medical treatment ASAP.

that's really a bad place to be hit. the temple is so sensitive because its a soft spot in between pieces of skull, and a lot of nerve endings and tissue is behind the temples. i don't know what is wrong with him but it could be a lot of things. he should definitely see a doctor asap! hope all turns out okay!

I don't know but its conventional wisdom that a strike to the temple can be very damaging and even lethal. I would certainly consider going to a doctor if I was him.

the temple is a FRAGILE place. it can be dangerous. it may be inflammation of the brain (fixable) which to put it simply messes with the body! visit a neurologist. dont worry but get it looked at. good luck!

anytime you have unexplained dizzyness you should see a doctor. he's let this go on for way too long. He could have a subdural bleed, or a contra coup concussion, or any of a number of other problems.....he needs to be examined ASAP
