Well often i do scream and no one hears me, probably because i am not communicating clearly, not making enough of an effort to bridge over the silence. That's the problem with screaming. It fuels the fire for even more ceaseless shrieking, and builds up in you the frustration that no-one can hear you at all, no-one is listening, and to top it all of, you have no one to blame but yourself. However, screaming does, at least, get their attention. The positioning of a scream assists its shock factor significantly. Screaming alone in your closet does nothing more than convince your family that you are well into a teen angst relapse, but screaming suddenly and without warning while in a quiet morning line at Starbucks, or in the middle of church or some other quiet gathering, tends to be more effective.

I screamed for 26 years strait, no one listend. Now I can't make a sound. I cannot talk, I cannot scream. I am mute. I don't know what I sould like anymore. Yes I am depressed, yes I am lonely, yes I am sad. But I am as blank as a black sheet of construction paper.
Wait a minute, I am still screaming.

Yes, but I think people can see what your feeling. This feeling is a great indicator of the fact that its time to take a big breath and figure what ever is going on in your head.

My answer is a resounding yes! Though I believe there is definitely power in silence, and performing outstanding deeds such as selfless acts of service to others around us. Having experienced the power of prayer and meditation in my life and the joy recieved as the result of doing things for others without any expectations, is indescribable and incredibly life-changing to say the least. There is unbelievable power in silence, and those that know and use this in their lives will discover it's magic. Just study the lives of the saints, sages, and wisemen of the ages and you will see, or even better experience it for yourself firsthand.

That's a problem. Screaming is a primal means of relieving the built up flight or fight pressure. If you feel you are screaming without sound you may be trying to releive pressure without knowing how. Just a thought.
