Isn't this horrible??

Question

In a town near me a man is going to court because he thought his ex wife was with a new man and he went to her house where he found her (with no man) and poured Lye (sp?) all over her and set her on fire. And this was AFTER he shoved their two daughters into the bathroom, hitting one in the face with a baseball bat. Before he burned her he sexually assaulted her and beat her. She is now in critical care in a coma with 1st degree burns on 80% of her body, and her face is completely unrecognizable.

HOW HOW HOW could you DO this to someone? Especially someone you loved?! i don't understand it. at all. so heart breaking and sickening.

and i forgot to add...he left his daughters in the bathroom where they could HEAR him killing their mother. sooo foul.

It makes me think that he was brought up very poorly in a dysfunctional family...where he was abused or watched someone else abused...or had mental problems without proper medications. It is horrible....but I don't see any love here on his part...maybe he wasn't loved, and was never shown love and doesn't know how to love. It is heart-breaking. Only God knows why he did what he did. It's interesting that an atheist says this is the reason why I am an atheist. God has given man free-will and will not intervene..this can be a blessing...or in this case a curse. Many awful things happen in life because of sin entering the world. If everyone operated with God's perfect love earth would be a better place and u wouldn't have these terrible things happen. God is a good God...man is fallible.

Father..In the name of Jesus..I pray your perfect will in this situation....for the wife, the children and Lord the husband. Lord we don't understand why these happen and the distraught it causes in the families, friends and communities. Lord I would pray that you would restore and heal the wife miraculously, emotionally and mentally as well as the children and comfort the families, friends and community. I also pray that people in the community, and true Christians would come around this dear family and support them. Lord I pray that the husband will get just punishment for his crimes and the psyhcological help he needs. May u connect this family with the best medical professionals, counsellor's and phyciatrists....and begin the healing process for all. I pray for many prayer groups to put them on thier prayer lists and pray for them regurlarily. I praise You, Lord for what you will do in this whole situation and I lift this whole situation up to You.

The question is did the woman never see any changes in the behavior of her husband? This man is obviously paranoid in a way and such behavior should be quite odd and people can easily notice it. If she did notice the odd behavior of his husband and never mind it or didn't do anything at all by just dismissing it as a normal thing. Then she is partly at fault of what happened to her. It is very impossible and in no way have the action of her husband to be premeditated or planned. Her husband must have that illusion that his wife is cheating as most paranoid man do and that thought didn't just come out just recently before he hurt his wife. That thought have been buried in his subconscious for quite awhile and randomly appearing on his mind anytime. And as time passes with this illusion coming in mind and disappearing, the pressure also started building up. Until that day when he finally break down and lost grasp of reality. And by the time this man returned to his normal thinking, it is already to late, he have badly hurt his wife and his kids without actually knowing beforehand that damage he had caused. Only after everything have subsided that the man realized the horrible things he have done. And he have to pay for his actions. My conclusion is temporary insanity, or the person have an insanity problem and need to be locked up in a mental institute and diagnosed until fit, healthy and sane to stand trial.

I agree with you.What a horrible event!
The reason why the man do to her wife may have some problem.The man thought his beloved wife had fallen in love with another one though he might not be sure of that that he could't control himself to do the terrible thing.He must be very sad that made him blind himself.He was ambivalent that why he hurt his lover.

I believe that when he is clear-headed,he will feel extremely ashamed what he had done.If he had more EQ,the pity wouldn't be happened.

That is horrid! The sad thing is I hear almost everyday something similar to that on the news. If there is a hell I hope there is a special place where they can suffer the same fate they caused on the children and women they hurt or killed for eternity

She had to have some sort of sign of his violent tendencies...nobody gets that ohysical just out of the blue...She in no way deserved that nor did the children but she should have seen the signs and left him a long time ago before it came to that.

I guess I should add that this guy is really sick and should be beat to death and or thrown in a cell with biggest gay rapist in prison...I'm not saying at all that she deserved it. It just kills me that "some" women get beat up all the time and go back..I mean come on....

some people were raised like that. they were abused as kids so they grow up to use violence to solver everything. Or they have a mental illness. and some people just snap. its crazy and horrible
