1. Get moving. Moderate physical activity releases endorphins in the body's blood stream.

2.Write on. Research shows that keeping a journal and writing about negative feelings can help a person feel better and function well

3.Eat right. Follow a nutritious diet to ensure that you are getting enough vitamins and minerals. If in doubt, consider taking a supplement.

4.Stay connected. Don't isolate yourself if you feel anxious or sad. Instead, make dates with friends, family members, and co-workers for a getaway lunch or after-work treat.

5.5. Enjoy some rays. Get a few minutes of sunlight when the weather permits.

Try complimenting others. Sometimes if you mention to someone how nice the color they're wearing looks on them or what a great job they did on a project, just some little something to make them feel good, you make yourself feel good, too.
Of course, I've found that a "never fail" solution to a blue day for me is to check out the dragon poetry that Billy Boy has posted on P&S for that day. He's got an awesome knack for the positive.

Well, I just started working out and it makes me feel awesome. (increases endorphins)

When I feel down I sometimes write and it usually comes around to a positive and makes me feel better.

I think about how all are days are numbered and I tell my self how lucky and happy I am to be alive.

I try to find the positives in the very difficult times I have had in my life.

But bad moods are normal like rainy days, and should not be considered as something too bad, unless they are too frequent.

We all have good days and bad days.

Good luck.
