Get a second female. Mollies are truly best kept in a group of 1 male for every 3-4 females.

With Mollies it is best to keep 1 male for every 2 or 3 females. If you have more than one male and one is more dominant then the others will suffer. Also having extra females will divide the attention of the male between them.

You definately should get another female, because in case the male wants to mate, it will give one of the females always a breather
If you would get however another male, I think they would chase your female to death

Hope that helped

I'm pretty sure that since you have a male and female molly that your really aware of how easy it is for them to reproduce. In case you didnt know molly's are live bearers (means they give birth to live babies). In theory a female would be idea as males tend to be more aggressive. But at the rate they reproduce there is a bit of a downside. I think it would depend on how much space you have for them.

I'd get a male. Females get pregnant easy and with two you may have more babies than you can handle.
