I'm at the part where the guy falls into the hole of icewater, and drowns. What would you rate this book on a scale of 1 to 10?

10 being the best

Anyone wanna ruin it for me? I won't mind. Just try not to make it more than a paragraph. ^-^

probably a 7. It definately won't change the world but it is entertaining. I personally liked Angels and Demons the best too.

Can I use halves? I'd say 8.5 (or if I had to choose a whole number, 8). I really enjoyed it for the most part - think the setting was great, and I could see it in my mind as I read it.

Angels and Demons is my favorite by this author, too, but I did like Digital Fortress and Da Vinci Code as well.

If you really have to know the ending, I say skim some pages, but it's interesting how things come together, including the people you think you know. So try to enjoy it.

I rate it about 7 - 8. There are some areas where Mr. Brown stretches believability a bit and gets more into truthiness than actual truth. But on the whole, he writes a good story and it was an enjoyable read. Pax - C

I'd give it a five. It bored me. Digital Fortress was better (and the other two books of course) but I guess it's just a matter of tastes. If you like Dan Brown, you may want to try reading Steve Berry's novels. I think he's a better writer than Dan Brown.

yes I read it and I loved it. I love Dan Brown's books I have read pretty much all of them. I gave it a 91/2 because I loved
Angels and Demons better. No, I think you should finish reading it, so I won't ruin it for you:)

Can't wait for the movie-prequel of Da Vinci code, which is Angels and Demons.

I would give it a 9 also. It's a very good book. And as a FYI if you haven't read his other books read Angels & Demons. I personally think it is his best work.
