My mom coaches a cheer squad that is doing a craft sale on the 4th. They made princess headpieces that were easy. Just use wire to form a round base (for top of the head). Then, wrap it with a nice looking tape (colored duct tape or flower tape is good. Then you can start wrapping them with nice ribbons and fake flowers. Even strung beads look great on them. And the supplies are cheap and easy to get.

They are a big hit for little girls who want to be princesses!

Good luck!

You could have a Christmas in July table. Do a web search for some simple ornaments to make.

make nice gift boxes from selected print-outs.

1. choose a print (one that suits your taste) or a phtograph of friends (if personalized) and print it out on a rather thicker board (doesn;t have to be that thick)
or
just rip out a thick ad page with awesome colors or photograph from a fashion magazine.

2. cut pattern... see source below.

3. make different interesting sizes based on the pattern.. ideal for keeping jewelry or some other stuff.

4. to make the boxes glossy, spray some varnish to finish or simply use nail polish on selected colors or images...

---

if you have time to bake, you can also make interesting shapes from salt dough, bake them right and paint them over quick, colorful and nice... and varnish.

---

or sell whatever you think matches the bags you'll be selling.

have fun, good luck!

Can you sew? I love the idea of making the beach bags, make a bunch of bags of all different sizes and colors...those would sell "like hot cakes" they're very popular right now.

You could make necklaces and anklets too
