I am a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, and I find no legitimate reason for his impeachment. However, as the history of impeachment tells us, that has not stopped the House in the past. The impeachments of President Johnson and Clinton are prime examples, but check impeachment procedings against judges.

But yes. As far as I'm concerned, when Bush stated he considered the Constitution a "damn piece of paper" he broke the oath he took to "uphold and defend the Constitution"--and that is perjury (which, the cons nevr cease pointing out, they regard as an impeachable offense).
Plus a couple of dozen other things Bush has done.

They would have to impeach Cheny too. The constitution doesn't allow for impeachment for stupid mistakes, only high crimes and misdemeanors. They would have to impeach themselves, because most of them voted for this war.
