I just started a new birth control lo ovral 28 and this is my first period on them. My cramps have been soo painful it radiates into my back and while I was at work I started to bleed a little heavy but it stopped. While it was doing that I had a clot about the size of a quater come out and it was dark red but had some white looking tissue inside it this has never happened to me the clots yes but not with white tissue inside. I don't know if it's just because my body has to adjust to the new pill or what.

I just saw a program the other day about clots. they are very normal for periods. quarter size is ok but if they get any bigger i would go to the doc. you know when you are having your period, all it is, is the uterus shedding the inner lining and cleaning out your female system. I would tho see about those cramps. I know those can be a real b.i.t.c.h. and painful as all get out.

Hmm I have had pretty big clots on my period some I couldn't believe that they came out of me w/o me feeling them. Do you use tampons maybe it is cotton left over from the tampon. Not sure if scared take a sample to your OBGYN and have them run a test. Good luck and I hope you feel better

The clot part sounds normal but you may want to call your doctor about the white tissue.

Call your gyno. Quarters sound too big. Clots form because blood is pooling somewhere before it exits. It could just be from the hormones and your body is just trying to adjust.

Uterine fibroids are usually not dangerous, but can cause immense discomfort and lead to complications like anemia from heavy blood loss. In rare cases, they may cause complications that affect pregnancy.
In cases where there are no symptoms, treatment may not be necessary. However, proper diagnosis and treatment may be required if your symptoms are severe or causing complications. Along with conventional treatment, you can try some natural home remedies. Read here https://tr.im/90fxU

They are round in shape and can get as big as a melon in size. Blood clots may point out you need to switch your birthcontrol...

Not to big.You said you never had this before with the white tissue. This would concern me. I think you should check with your gyno.I also think that it has something to do with the birth control. I think a lower dose birth control will do you fine.So contact your gyno. All the best.
