yes I think we should have a law to spray animals because my dog sometimes gets in the mud and gets dirty. My dad sprays him with the waterhose and he gets all clean. I also think it should be a law to nurtured animals. We need to feed them so they dont go hungry

I think this is an ideal who time has come long ago! As for breeders... well true respectable ethical breeders who have a true love of the breed and not a true love of the money will comply with the laws. The only breeders that will be hurt are the back yard breeders who sell sick and dying animals and keep there "breeding stock" in terrible condition anyway. And it would be a god send for controlling the stray animal population!
Any one that dose not agree we HAVE to do something needs to go volunteer at there local animal control shelter for a week... not one of the "no" kill shelters!!

YES!!!!! I used to work at a nor cal shelter untill I couldn't handle it anymore. Whenever 4th of july, or newyears or any kind of celebration involving fire works, the shelter would (and still does) kill healthy, happy, young adoptable dogs to make room for the scared dogs that ran away from home because of the loud noises. It was sickening to me. F*ck the dog breeders. Most of the dogs at the shelters are pure breds and not mutts. Get a dog from the shelter. All dogs and cats should be fixed.

4 months is TOO YOUNG for most dogs. They should be neutered at 5 to 7 months. (American Veterinary Medical Association Guidlines)
I live in a city that requires pets to be spayed or neutered. If you wish to have a pet that is not 'fixed' then you must pay $360 a year in order to keep the pet. You pay this when you get your Rabies Vaccination (which is required yearly). Inspectors DO go door to door and check for vaccination of all pets. If you don't vaccinate, you are fined. If you don't pay the fine, you are jailed and the pet is confiscated.

Absolutely.
There are already too many unwanted pets out there who need homes that are euthanized every day.
Many animal shelters require that newly adopted pets be spayed or neutered within a certain time period after adoption. I strongly support that. My cat was spayed 3 days after I adopted her (she was 7 when I got her...and mother to I don't know how many kittens).
I agree with what you say. We certainly don't need to be adding to the problem. PLEASE spay and neuter your animals. Don't buy from breeders. Go to a shelter. Go to a rescue group (many purebreds are taken by rescue groups until they can be adopted).

I couldn't AGREE more. (And I know some animal breeders). This is for the good of the animal, yet they oppose it? Cash vs. Animals. Unwanted animals are tortured, discarded or put down all over this country. Let's take control of it.

I think California is nuts as always. What if they had a program that helped people get their animals fixed. Are you read to pay 9000 for a dog in 5 years?
