Because bad things happen to ALL people. No... wait... it's to punish them for being good. No good deed goes unpunished.

I really don't know. It's not mean to be but for evil & bad guy they should be punished one way or the other but still the good ones are punished too.Some are just bad luck, they are in the wrong place at the wrong time.They reckon bad people live longer, in my own opinion they are just very creepy & so hard to catch that by the time they have done another crime its too late!!

Bad things happen to bad people too, but we are judgemental. When something happens to a good person, it's a bad thing.
When the same bad thing happens to a bad person, we tend to think they deserved it somehow, therefore it isn't a bad thing.
It isn't God or Karma .. it's us. We judge things and people as being bad or good.

there is no such thing as a bad person; everyone is born good, but some choose to do bad things... so you're question should be "why do bad things happen?" . suffering and death is ust a part of life. bad things make people stronger

Bad things happen to good and bad people at random. There is no logical reason behind the occurrence of such events.

Because life isn't fair, nor was it designed to be. We are equal in "some " areas and tough times, is one of them. We learn from the bad as well as the good. We have no guarantees.
