Question

For men only. Does it matter, really, really matter, how skinny a girl is? Is it all the media hype that makes girls want to be as thin as pine needles or is there really something to that mindset?

Don't sugarcoat your answers, and don't lie. I just want honest, straightforward, tell-it-like-it-is answers. Once and for all!

TRUTH: Toothpicks are meant to pick food from teeth, then tossed away, (understand?).
Curves RULE....for 95 % of all men, not Fat, just curvy. Of course, some guys have a fantasy of holding both sides of a woman's rear end in One hand......kinda wierd, huh.
Example....Doesn't Salma Hayak look BETTER than Nicole Richie ???
Exception to the Rule: Adrianne Lima (Victoria's Secret model) is skinny, but HOTT !!! Those eyes and pouty lips just Rock !!

HAHAHA! Freaked you out didn't it? No guys want that! Trust me. The media portrays women as skinny in an effort to reduce female obesity in the US (since a lot of women are obese/ overweight).

Big difference huh? And she's a lot more attractive too don't you think? I like girls like her and you could add 10 lbs on her and I'd still find her attractive.

Most men don't mind it if a woman is 20 or 30 pounds over weight. It's all in the way she dresses, the way she carrys herself and of course .. personality. Myself, I really like a woman who is funny and can make me laugh.

I have said this probably a million times (just on Y!A alone) - but there is NOTHING attractive about a skinny little twig with nothing but her bony ribs sticking out...

If I really wanted to date someone who looked like a twelve year-old boy, I would simply join NAMBLA ;););););)

The truth of the matter is, what is inside that counts, not the outside. I do not like real skinny women, nor do I like them super big, but it depends on who they are on the inside is what counts. Big ,small, short , tall, makes no difference to me. I never judge a book by it's cover, just what is inside is what matters to me.............

, Am not lying ,nor , not suger coating anything , I am attracted to a beautiful woman . A beautiful woman is a woman who is acceptable with her body , wether it be 350 lbs or 150 lbs is fine with me . I can only answer for myself . A ...good woman is a A ...fine woman .....just the truth...

I personally do not like girls that are too thin. Girls with curves are much more attractive. It makes them more interesting, and you know they have more important things in their life besides losing weight.

I think skinny waify girls like kate moss are awful. I mean, I don't want to date anyone who can hula hoop with a keychain. And, intimately, might even be scared to break them. Also, why are they skinny:drugs, anorexia, bulimia, starvation. too much emotional baggage to have to bother with.

I don't weant a girl that can be tossed around like a rag doll. I like her to have a little meat on her bones. Out it this way my ideal weight for my girl is betweenh 140-150. To be honest thats even pushing it a little.

I basically have to agree with the others.

I don't exactly know where the idea of skinny women (with no breasts, mind you) as "beautiful" came about, but the males that I know don't agree with it.

Probably because it's not natural.
