I would not say that I had a sheltered child hood. There were alot of things that I was not allowed to do, which included dating and parties. As i got older and I started doing those things, I was a little bit surprised but I knew of those things exsisted. The things i saw di not shock me but they wowed me. I had friends that were allow to do the things that they wanted so i heard about all the things that could happen in the world.

nope, just an abandoned childhood. my parents were always too busy for us, and we never got any new clothes or shoes for school. We only had 2 pairs of jeans each and 1 pair of shoes for the whole school year. They could care less if we left the house or whatever, so not sheltered, but pretty sad if ya ask me.

What do you mean by sheltered?is it protective family tradition??If that's your question, then i think i have a family that really value the good behavior of individual so that when you become adult you will be responsible from right or wrong decision in life.Your parents are the example from the beginning during your younger years until you become an adult.Your home life is the birds-eye-view of what you become later on in life.

i would say somewhat sheltered. i live in a very liberal town and before i went away to school i had never many met conservative people or republicans! i grew up in Vermont, which is also one of the whitest states in the country, so not until i went away to college did i see people of other races. i feel pretty pathetic saying that, but it's just where i grew up.
