Do florists who work out of their home tend to make a decent income?

Yes, a friend of mine her mother does florist jobs from her home and makes a decent living.. She sets her own hours and everything... She also does wreaths/centerpieces at Christmas to supplement her income as well. In the spring/summer she works out of her garage and in the winter mnths she works from the basement... She finds floral vases and baskets at antique stores and thrift shops.. Some stuff she also buys at the craft store/floral supply warehouses... I don't know a $$$ amount that she makes-but I know she does it for personal spending money/vacation money...Good luck
