Well, that's a tough question! I would have to say, my farther being killed when I was four. It was bad enough to loose a farther. Even worse to find out you lost him do to racism(being killed for the colour of your skin). It really messed me up for a while. For the longest time I was so full of anger and hate. It took me along time to come to grips that it was not the skin colour that killed my farther, but the individuals. Also learning to deal with the special moments you see all other kids sharing with their dads. Knowing you never have that farther role model as it were. Not to mention all those thing that are just easier to learn from ones dad(being a boy). Leaving that hole or void in your life you can never fill.
All that being said, alcohol poisoning(Coma), my mother abandoning me to the state and Narcolepsy( school thought I was a drug addict) come in a close second, third and fourth. What does not kill us, makes us stronger. True forgiveness is the greatest gift in life. Learning to love life and look at everything as half full instead of empty. One can truly grab life by the horns. Making your life what you want it to be. No matter what trials you been through. Knowing every day is a blessed gift. Not to waste one moment of it. In self pity, or doubt! This is life's true poison.
Peace!!! Love!!! Happiness!!! Health!!!

In October of 1989 I was in a car accident, I received a severe head injury, I spent almost a year in the hospital, mostly rehabilitation. I was married and have 3 children.
While in the hospital my wife had an affair with a patient she met at the hospital, moved him into her apartment while I was in the hospital. After leaving the hospital we tried to work things out, After 11/2 years it didn't, She left, and took my kids. I'm disabled, they live in Alaska, I live in Kansas, it's been 16 years since I've seen my children. It's a nonstop pain!

The scars put on me when I had my nervous break down, which lasted so long because they couldn't fine the right medication. That was probably the hardest thing anyone goes through. But first I must say was not knowing God the way I should have.
Here's to your happiness!

waiting for my newborn son to die, of multiple heart defects. the dr. at san diego childrens hosp. told us out of the 3 defects, only 1 was correctable, the other 2 were not. we spent 2 1/2 days there, just waiting......finally, it was all over for my son, and us. that was a living hell on earth.

reading the euology at my father's funeral... he committed suicide under "suspicious circumstances" and his wife at the time (no, not my mother) didn't want me to talk more than 120seconds.... she also refused to give a statement to the police - see she was there when he "killed himself" - shot to the left temple. he died in the hospital an hour later. i'm still going through the pain of missing him.
