This could be either two things:
1) you had a sharp fingernail which scratched her internally causing the blood, or her cervix was minorly injured during the intercourse.
2) she is spotting between periods... this symptom can be a sign of a few things.... it could mean she has a STD or infection.... it could be hormones from taking the pill.... or it can be a sign of a disorder such as endometriosis...
The only way to know is to go to a gynocologist... if you guys are having sex then she NEEDS to see a gyne or a Nurse practitioner for an exam... Girls of reproductive age or who are sexually active need to have a yearly pap smear to check for abnormalities and to look for cancerous cell changes.
So talk to her openly and honestly.... tell her you are concerned. Maybe she can get her mom or a sister or a friend to go with her to the appointment.
Good Luck,
Angie R.N.

Your fingernail could have cut her cervix or less likely a small area of her vagina. Just rest the vagina (nothing in it) for the next three days and see if it doesn't heal itself. If you and your girlfriend are having sex she really does need an exam- try and talk her into making a scheduled appointment so she can get a pap smear and cultures done. She can also talk about birth control options.

I've never bled from sex or anything sexual (besides hymen bleeding). That's weird.
If it was me personally I would wait for it to go away and hope everything was okay. But giving advice to someone else is much easier! Tell her to ask her mom or a woman that she trusts.

It is possible that you lacerated her vagina. It might need stitches. If this is the case and you leave it untreated, she is at risk of having an infection. Delaying medical attention usually only causes unnecessary suffering and cost. Don't risk it.

I would say go see a doctor, but you don't want to hear that. Or just chill on shoving items in her vagina for a few days.
Maybe go down on her, that might stop it!

You may have scratched her inside (trim and scrub your fingernails!)
Some girls will also bleed when they ovulate, so make sure you use a condom!
