Is this computer fairly new? Is it still under warranty? My friend had a similar problem recently with her new Lenovo which is actually the IBM Home computer . We called tech support and explained the problem. They told us how to get in, but we had to reformat the whole drive and reinstall windows. You may not have to go through all that but I do suggest that you get in touch with Sony tech support if you are under warranty.

If you or someone esle truly did not setup a password, then search for "Sony Bios Default passwords". There are default passwords used by manufacturers. Careful though, if you enter them incorrectly, it will lock you out. In addition the "Ultimate Boot CD" program has a password changer it it. Again, if you don't know what you're doing, you lose!
