It could happen.. Why not? It makes as much or more sense than people getting hammered in a bar and exchanging numbers and then meeting later and having absolutely no idea what the other person is really like...
It also has to beat arranged marriages in some village where your Dad gives or gets so many cows or whatever as a present!

hahaha- just look at bluedevil's answer. He and I met on Yahoo Answers many months ago. We emailed, called, met several times --first time it was as if we had known each other all our lives. We are so in love and I am moving in 3 weeks from Illinois to Georgia to be with him for the rest of our lives. He has promised to give me ring and I will accept it with honor and joy. He is the love of my life and makes me so very happy.

My sweetheart who goes by girlnamedmaria and I met here on yahoo asking and answering some music questions, started emailing each other developing a mutual admiration and strong friendship with each other that grew stronger and stronger! She then called me and I told her well you know I love you and she gasped I love you too! This was after several months of emailing before she ever called me. I just knew that I loved her and it came straight from my heart. Then we later met for the first time in person in Nashville, Tennessee and it's as if we have known each other all our lives so natural and so meant to be as we realized that our love is true as we love each other for who we are. She will be moving down here to Georgia to be with me in 23 days forever to be my Georgia girl. She also knows that I will give her a ring promising to love her and only her forever.

One day, I read a question and answered it...It was about a couple who met each other on here...They exchanged phone numbers, talked, eventually met each other, the girl moved to the same city as the boy, and I think they are now engaged...I'm not joking, either...If you want, you can look through my answers and you'll find it...It was a question about yahoo answers couples...
