That depends-- Are you buying stuff because it's on "sale" and you think you're saving money, when, in the end you don't really wear the clothes and you just buy it because you think you're saving money?

I only shop retail sale racks if it's at least 50% off, 40% if I literally need the items. As it is, I only buy clothes when I need it and hit rummage sales and thrift stores first. I also try to not pay over $10. Maybe $15.

Anyway, just make sure you literally need the clothes or you could set yourself up for financial trouble when you're older. A $20 shirt here; A $30 pair of jeans at the next store it adds up and suddenly you don't have money for the bills of necessity, like rent, groceries (I could give you several ways to save there, too), etc. These are just simple lessons that I've learned from my parents and I've taken them and expanded on them.

I hope I've helped.

No, it's good, you want sales, trust me. Why spend more money when you can go shopping only when there are sales? Why, did somebody accuse you of this? Who are they to tell you you're bad to go shopping only for the sales? There are no limits to how much you can shop, the stores want money, and you want merchandise.

NO! I love sales. My family is going through a kinda hard patch. We spent money on remaking our backyard (pool). Getting House extensions.

I have 3 siblings.

And most of my clothes are from Abercrombie and Fitch, AE, Aero, Hollister, etc. Because of sales. They are my heroes.

If you really need something at it's on sale, it's pretty convienant, and if you want something and it's on sale you could get it. It's okay to find something you like if it's on sale too. I <3 sales!

no shop for sale items, but do not buy things you don't need, or will never use.
