Couple of questions... do you have 8" of fat to lose on your waist? You can only lose so much mass before you are down to muscle only. If you have 8" to lose, then eating right and exercising can help you lose up to 2pounds of weight a week. However, you can't really "spot reduce" so there's no way to guarantee that you will loose the weight in your waist.

Try eating a healthy, balanced diet, you don't need to buy diet foods to be healthy about what you eat. You already exercise, make sure you're doing at least 30 minutes of cardio 3 or more times a week. Ensure your caloric output is higher than your intake and you will loose weight. Losing 2 pounds a week puts you at 8 pounds a month and you have four months so that's a total of 32 pounds you could potentially lose. However, you must make sure youare not losing too much weight and that you stay healthy while losing.

Trying to lose weight to fit in a certain size bathing suit doesn't make much sense, you should aim for a healthy weight and BMI for your height and bulid and activity level. Who cares what size jammers you wear?? Make sure you are trying to lose weight for the RIGHT reasons!!!

Sounds like you're on the right track, good luck!
