What is a "pure" Benoit fan? Are they better than all other wrestling fans?

Steroids affect your thinking and body long after they leave the bloodstream. "Roid rage" is not a factor, but rather what type of damage did steroid use do to Chris Benoit's brain in order to make him commit this crime.

He did not seem to be enraged for any reason, but calm while he murdered his family. He definitely wanted someone to check the house immediately after the crime and suicide so that they could start investigating ASAP. The text messages were not jumbled but clear and concise as to his address and where their pets were.

I think he suffered the most after murdering his wife and son. Also the pain and suffering from not dying immediately during his suicide must have made him think before his last breath. I could probably see remorse and pain etched on his face after death.....

Sad events occurring lately involving domestic murder.....

Here is my thoughts on this, I've read a million posts on people blaming Chris Benoit for killing his family over "drug abuse"; however none of us know whether it was actually drug abuse or not. WWE released a statement discrediting the theroy of Chris Benoit using steriods, as he tested negative in April of 2007; am I saying that he didn't use since then? NO, but I am saying that all the speculation and all the talk doesn't get anybody anywhere. I believe that none of us will truly know the answer until the toxicology report is released. I know that I am affected by all of this as much as the next person, but all of us have to remember that the person we knew as "Chris Benoit" was the entertainer, the champ, and the rabid wolverine.

Every night we watched this man perform, we allowed him into our homes, our families watched him, some of us cheered for him and some of us boo'ed him. I will not sit here and put a man down that for years and years entertained all of us as I didn't know what his personal life was like, I only the knew the man that I allowed into my home each time my family watched wrestling or friends came over to watch a pay-per-view. As the person that asked the question said "I think maybe there was a seperation coming or major trouble at home"; and I have to agree with that. There isn't a single person on this forum that can say that they have never been mad or even to the point of snapping, however not everybody takes it that far.

So ultimately what I am saying, I will wait until the toxicology report comes out and then base my own decision off that.

X: Chris Benoit’s personal physician met with him the day of the murder, according to an Associated Press report. Dr. Phil Astin also said he prescribed testosterone to Benoit because of a low count being produced by his body. Astin said that condition likely stemmed from previous steroid use. Here is the link: http://www.accessnorthga.com/news/ap_newfullstory.asp?ID=94290

X: There are other details soon to surface nationally about the murder/suicide that include details about Nancy Benoit spoke with Astin the day before her murder to try and gain information about treating her son Daniel. WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt told me the promotion has information stating Daniel was suffering from Fragile X, which is an inherited mental impairment that causes autistic-like symptoms [more information about the disease can be found at FragileX.org]. McDevitt said it’s believed that Nancy Benoit was struggling trying to cope with Daniel and that neck surgery she had undergone wasn’t make the situation any easier for her and Chris.

One question that can be posed is this: If Chris Benoit killed his wife stemming from a confrontation about Daniel, did he later kill his son because of concerns about who would take care of a needs child while he was in prison? While this doesn’t make Benoit’s actions any more justifiable, the scenario may shed some light on why Chris Benoit killed his son before taking his own life.

I never thought that steroids were a direct cause of this, although I'm sure they would not have helped the situation in any way. It's clear that Chris Benoit had some very serious problems going on inside his head and it will never be clear just what sort of afwul demons he was facing.

I dont buy the "roid rage" arguement , that ever single television news show wants to use. I just think thats an easy target since the truth will probably never be known, cause Chris Coward killed himself. I think there is way more to this , but because it has to do with wrestling all your going to get is steroids this and steriods that blah blah blah.

I do not believe it was "roid rage" that caused this to happen. No one really knows for sure what happened....well, only three people know : Chris, Nancy and little Daniel. What happened was wrong.....there is no mistake about that. I think they fought over Daniel b/c Nancy wanted Chris not to travel as much as his job had him. What happened next...well, that's something that we may never know. I think it's time for people to let this go and let Chris and his family rest in peace. For the TRUE Benoit fans::: remember Chris for what he did in the ring and not this horrible thing.

I think he just couldn't deal with the stress that came with his family. his son was mentally retarded and him and his wife and him were constantly arguing about how to take care of him.

*you know the people that say 'we love benoit' and 'rest in peace' are disgusting people to me. you love people that murder thier family. you want someone like that to rest in peace.
