Annan Joseph (AJ) or Tiernan Joseph (TJ)

The Initial nickname is just an option. I will call him by his full first name, his father most likely by the initial nickname.

Annan means "from the brook"

Tiernan means "lord"

Joseph is a family name on both sides and means "Jehovah increases"

Which do you like better?

For a second son, first son is Caiden Michael and daughter is Brynna (Br-in-a) Elizabeth.

The last name is Hart.

Everyone keeps saying that they think Annan is more feminine than Tiernan, however, Tiernan is a unisex name where as Annan is not.

I like the sound of Tiernan Joseph much better because it has a ring to it that Annan Joseph lacks. But, if you name him Annan, you'll have an A, B, and C! Personally, I like AJ better than TJ, but I just love the name Tiernan, and in this case, the name is most important. I very much like your other children's names. Congrats!!

Tiernan Joseph is really cute! Lol it would mean "Lord, Jehovah increases." Just pointing that out! LOL. I don't liek Annan very much. For me, it sounds WAY to feminine!

P.S.- I LOVE YOUR DAUGHTER'S NAME!

Go with Tiernan.

I think about names like this,
If I were a substitue teacher, and was looking at the attendance sheet, would I think it was a he or a she, and how do I pronounce it.

I don't think parents think that often about the potential embarassment that a kid goes through if he's called a girl, or she's called a boy. It doesn't matter to adults, but kids do care.

Tiernan is easy to read, I love it, it's an obvious mascualine name to me.

GOOd One!!

*** I really like your kids' names! My son is Cade. I would choose Tiernan. Sounds more masculine. The Ann sounds feminine in Annan.***

Tiernan Joseph is an awesome name. My son is Tavion Jacob, so he is a "TJ" too. Congrats on the newest edition to your family.
