Why do I have to see, hear details of P. Hilton's life every time I click on Y mail?

I understand that Y! lives on commercials, but this is not a paid ad...served up as "news"...Don't you think that the media should have more respect to people not pushing stupid, superficial irrelevant things into our world?

You are right Sher, although it is not Iraq or Afganistan I want to read about. There are 200 plus countries in the world I bet lots of interesting stuff happens there, we never know about. Also in US scientific world, nature, arts....

Good question. People are dying every day in Iraq, Afganistan, etc & all people care about is Paris getting out of jail & who's winning American Idol or the food show, or the hair show, etc.
