I don't think so. I was a young adult during Watergate and though it made me cynical at a young age about politicians, I never stopped looking to the future for something better. My son is going into his last year of college and he's disgusted with Bush's Administration and is excited about voting in '08. I know he doesn't have any lowered expectations. We keep bouncing back in this country, no matter what!

I think my generation will know what to ask of our president in the future. But have a lower expectation? I think not.

Young Adults are not Stupid. Look at the average age of those dead and wounded in Iraq. A full 67 percent of Americans now think we should end the occupation of Iraq now..

I know that Carter gave me a lower expectation of future presidents - and Bush is living down to that expectation.

of course they will, look at the example this president is setting for them. the USA has NO BUSINESS in any country other then its own. THE USA MUST STOP INVADING and they MUST STOP ASSISTING ISRAEL. israel will be americas downfall. mark my words. the year 2023 the USA shall FALL. the empire will collapse and it will be total anarchy.
