I think they coexist because there is scientific evidence to back up evolution, but if God isn't real then why do billions of people believe? They have to both mix.

In the Bible, it says that a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day. In other words, to God, time has no meaning. (Apply that to the 7-day creation scenario.)
As to evolution, the definition is merely "change". In that sense, I believe in evolution. See photographs of people in the late 1800's and early 1900's and compare to modern day people and you can see that humans have "evolved" just within the last century or so.
But, evolution as written by Charles Darwin? No. It never happened. Read Thor Heyerdahl's adventure books. How does the manta rey (devil fish, stingray) fit into Darwinism? Or sharks? How do Darwinists account for the fact that in many places around the world, there are tracks made by Man and by dinosaurs in the same rock?
For those that believe that Monkeys are the brothers of Man (i.e., both are descended from the same ancestor), I say, that is an insult to Monkey! They are more civil than most people, not bent on trying to kill each other, all in the name of religion.
Why I think so is obvious: the data is irrefutable: Darwinism is only a pipe dream made by people wanting to disprove the church and then setting out to find proof based upon their erroneous assumptions. Before the Liberals took complete control of the Media, newspapers used to print stories about animals that no one had ever seen before; no in-betweens or anything, these animals just appeared as new animals, no connection to previously-known animals. (I am talking about the Omaha World Herald, the Chicago Tribune and others, NOT those supermarket scandal sheets.)

Evolution is based upon measurable, testable data. Creation is based on some bronze age shepherds telling stories around a campfire. At a time when only the powerful could read, they found stories and documents that supported their position. Since James I of England's book on the Divine Right of Kings. However, consider the alternative to evolution: For a second consider the alternative: If a god intelligently designed the human species AND he preserves it intact so speciation does not keep occurring, then why does he preprogram some childrens' genes to have horribly painful and always fatal birth defects? He would have to break quite a few laws of nature to keep the genome stable. If he is actively intervening in the genome to do what creationists say, then why is he behaving Satanically with some children? If that is the case, I would rather have no god at all than have a Abrahamic god.

i think that evolution is correct and that God influenced it... but i don't believe intelligent design (which after think aabout what i just said makes me sound like a hypocrite)..... not sure on the specifics of what happened....i think the Genesis story is just a parable used to explain to prescientific people that there was a higher power responsibly for existance.....it answers the "who we are question" creations of a divine being not just a collection of molecules and elements but something much more ...where as evolution answers the "what we are"...it explains the reason things are the way they are in the physical world.....and if you think about it evolution proves the greatness of God more....how infinitely complex and massive and everything just proves to me that there is a God where as any four year old could come up with the Genesis story.......i think God created a universe were we could explore and learn..he gave us an intellect to use.....besides thee is so much evidence for evolution...and no evidence other than a millennia old book meant to explain God and NOT explain the science of the world.....and the only reason evolution is still a theory is probably because fundamentalist would have a hissy fit

The word is still out on the correct interpretation of the seven day creation! The trouble we have in addressing the exact meaning of the 7-day creation is that we give too much freedom to our intellect to address the issue.
When I read the old testament and learn that God instructed the levis to offer fats from animals to him as burnt offerings because he revels in their aroma, I see a God that is concerned with the health of the Isrealites long before science discovered that saturated fat is bad for your health. The blood of the lamb is also offered to God. Thereby depriving the Isrealites the health risks that their neighbors suffer from consuming blood.
So if God says he created heaven and earth in 7 days, the Bible is filled with all the supporting evidence we need to believe that it was so.
Evolution does not stand the test of any serious scrutiny. For a start, if ever monkeys or apes evolved over the millenium into homo sapiens why hasn't science been able to grow cells from other species to treated our ailing society. Why is stem cell in the news? Why do we need to harnest only cells from human beings to treat human diseases? Why not cells from other animals?
It seems to me that when we argue against God we come on too strong and are all emotionally wound up that we cannot look the truth in the eye. Which is of course why in the first place we argue against God. We are scared of the truth about God.
I believe strongly in creation. No in-betweens.

The universe is immense. Everthing had to be perfect for all of it to work. The atmospehere, gravity, elements..theyt all had to be perfect in order to support life. Of course it was designed.....there could be no other reason...the chance that there ws some "big bang" and it all just fell into place is mathematically impossible. Look around you, you can not name one thing in the room you are sittin gin that wasn;t created, not one thing....why then would the world be any different? There is a master planner, we no less than 1/10 of 1% about our universe...it is very smug for us to think we are alone...or that we had some hand in any of our surroundings.
Evolution is a theory...no proof has ever been given...absolutely, not even one shred of fossilized evidence. It is all conjecture, offered up by people who believe man is the supreme being....hogwash!

i dont think i have the right to believe past what i can prove .
that how wars start .
but i hope its not evolution .
some think birth rate and life span fuel evolution if that is so we all will devolve in to some thing like a fly with a high birth rate thats not good .
but i dont think that i think death rate and wars have more to do with evolution they kill the weak so thats a sad fact .
in the end i say god starts wars and wars start evolution life is that sad sorry to brake the news . i hope you all have a nice day .

Particle evolution took a strong hit about
ten years ago when scientists discovered
the center of a gene is a vacuum. (Probably
a genetic frequency )
Currently, there is much study going on,
pertaining to just how mass forms.
My own guess is that we are now on the
door mat to universal beliefs in quantum
theory, which supports the "quark" to be
a constant, while time and space come
and go.
It needs to be noted that all energy forms
from stars to people need The Force to be
present.

God visualized all of creation, then released the vision to begin manifestion through the "big bang", the process of creation is still in progress, some call this process evolution.

You really cannot prove either. None of us were there. Evolution and creationism are both theories.
