(3x^4 - 5) / (x^2)
= 3x^2 -5x^-2
So integral = x^3 +5/x + C

x^3+5/x + c

Solution break up the fraction into two parts:
3x^4/x^2 - 5/x^2

simplify 3x^4/x^2 = 3x^2

Then integrate the one at a time
int(3x^2) = x^3 and int(-5/x^2) = int(-5x^-2) = 5x^-1 = 5/x
