According to my first sono I am now currently 33 weeks pregnant and my due date is August14th. According to my period I am 35 weeks pregnant and my due date would be August3rd. People stop me whenever I am out, ask me when I'm due and look at me as if i have 5 heads when i tell them not until august 14th then say "honey youre not going to make it, that baby has to come before then!" (august 14th) I'm also measuring as of today 36cms from pubic bone to fundus, and have always measured about 2 or 3 weeks farther then what my obgyn is telling me. (ex 32cms when i was 29 weeks) i thought they were supposed to be the same?? (ex 35 weeks 35cms) i wanna hear ppls opinions! thankyouuu

if you know when your last period is I would go by that. I knew the exact day my son was conceived and the sonogram said other wise.. guess who was wright. people always say mom's know their own babies more than anyone else. so go with what you think!

I was always told the measures could be 2 or 3 cms different. so it just depends on when the time comes it going to come no matter what the dr says. The baby could be early or even on time and even late babys arent predictable and even the drs now this. I have been pregnant 5 times and the only 2 out of them were with in a day or 2 around there due dates. the last 2 were a week and 2 weeks late. Watch out for leaking fluids because I was loosing fluids and didnt realize it.

Nature doesn't really care what the sonogram says, what other people say, or what you think. The baby will come in her own good time. As long as you are within a month either way all will be well.

I was huge with my first son, and everyone including the doctor were certain I was going to have him any minute. 5 weeks later he came, at a whopping 11 pounds. Gosh no wonder I was big.

Just relax and think of a healthy baby, who will appear when she is good and ready!

Going threw the exact same thing, they told me first my due date was july 22, then after the U.S they told me it was Aug 3. Well july 22 would be a 28 day cylcle which i don't have , And Aug 3 would be a 38 day sycle which is also off, I had a 33 day cycle so by my calculations regardless of what the tech thinks. My due date is July 25th. I'm going by what my period is and not what they say.

The baby will come when it's time.... Your body and baby have their own time table that no doctor or ultrasound is going to over rule. As for the comments people make - don't get too worried over it - just laugh and say something like "the sooner the better" and just blow it off. Oh, I measured big with both my pregnancies, but delivered a week late both times. Enjoy your pregnancy!

I've always gone by my sono because I've never really known my dates. The measurments are not always accurate, I dont think I ever measured up right to my weeks to cm.
I wouldnt really listen to people when they say "Oh your never going to make it!" I've heard that will all my kids, and ALL of my kids have been over 2 weeks late! My first was 18 days past due! Yeesh! Wish you luck on the remainder of your pregnacy and your upcoming delivery!

due date aside, the baby will come when ready. If you are concerned about going overdue, ask your dr to schedule an induction around your Aug 14th duedate, that way even if you are right and they are wrong you will only go a week or so over, which is perfectly safe.

Girl RRREEEELLLAAXXXX!!!!!!!.... the baby will come when its ready.... it doesnt matter what your tape measure, your period or your dr says. I am sure you dr did the test that tells you fetal age anyway... and even if she didnt...... CALM DOWN before you have the baby NOW!!!!!!
