i play guitar and it doesnt help. guitar hero isnt even the same type of thing as a guitar. diff #1: guitar hero has buttons and real guitar has strings. #2 harder chords. #3 guitar gives u blisters. #4 guitar hero is a game not practice fer guitar

No, but in the newest issue of gameinformer there was a quote about the new game: rock star (made by same guys). There is a drum 4 this 1 and the creator said if u were beating it on expert w/ the drums...yur really playing them. Theres very kool in my opion.

I wish it would d00d but playing real guitar is much more complicated and im sure the chords on a real guitar are much more complicated..

I just ask one of my gaming kid brat and she says no, it won't help u play the real guitar.....
